Description
This bad boy is a Class 37 diesel locomotive. Also known at the English Electric 3 they were introduced as part of the British Rail Modernisation Plan in the early 1960’s. There are still around 60 of these units in active service and these have recently been introduced to the Valleys Lines in South Wales to ease the chronic shortage of rolling stock currently being experienced.
