Description
Dare Valley Country Park is situated just outside Aberdare in Rhondda Cynon Taf in the United Kingdom on a site reclaimed from old coal tips, remnants of the mining industry in the area. This image, taken in the autumn, was blessed with a magnificent sky.

Sky is very angry. Great capture. L
Steve Purnell replied:
Many thanks Brenda. The dark in the sky is actually blue and it was a lovely morning. The colour version is on here too.

I LOVE black and white photography. This is a GREAT image. Power and Strength. Couldn't have picked a better time of day for the shot as the light and shadows play so well in it. V/F/FBL

Great image.nutral desity filter or could be Black And white film red filter eather way deserves a place on any ones wall. How big can this get?
Steve Purnell replied:
Hi Scott, Many thanks for your comments. If I remember correctly this was a bracketed 3 shot HDR image converted to mono in photoshop with a red filter conversion amongst other bits and pieces of processing. Largest size for this one is 48" x 31.75" and I think that would look awesome on the right wall. Unfortunately it will not suit our decor.
